it's official

George Allen from VA is gone!

Tues evening my mother and I were fishing in my storage bin looking for my scarves, hats, and winter coats and I told her I wanted to get back in time to watch the election. She said: are we going to watch the elections ALL NIGHT?

Me: Yes.

My mom was not keen on this, she was primarily concerned about the CT races until I logged into CNN's web site all night and gave her updates on various ballot measures around the country, specifically the ban on abortion measure in SD, the ban on gay marriage in a number of states and minimum wage increases.

I didn't go to bed till I was certain the Dems took the House.

However, I woke up early the next morning to find my mother pressing keys on my computer to refresh the browser to see the current status.

I knew Lamont wasn't going to win for the past few months, when big bad Joe came on the TV early Wednesday to give his victory speech, my mother changed the channel bc, to paraphrase:

She didn't want to watch that !#@!!**?

Rumsfeld is gone, and yet we're now being subjected to one of the main men in the Iran/Contra affair.

History will hopefully bite these people in the ass. I hope these teethmarks leave a lasting impression.

Ned Lamont concedes

to the proven liar who says
he'll caucus to the democrats
but since the republicans elected him,

What have I been doing?

This, for starters:

Chuck Collins Online

Let me tell you, that MT, it's a pain and the forums aren't much help.
I am now uploading all CC's articles, then I have to show him how to post,
and then I am downloading a new version of MT,
and I am going to redesign this blog.
Maybe I will post more. Not that I don't have anything to say,
but I'm in "I'm keeping my mouth shut" mode.

Except of course when it comes to tomorrow.
I am going to have to find someone with a TV.
Let's hope the Democrats (of which I am not one)
don't fuck things up at the last minute like they usually do.
